The Chicago Bears need to make a new game plan, because the one they have currently is not working so well. Chicago is 1-3 in the last 4 games after putting a beating on the Atlanta Falcons in the opening week. After the first week, there was surprise that the Bears might be a team to beat, but apparently that is not the case anymore. Chicago has some playmakers, they just need to execute.
The Bears have a few playmakers that just need to step up and make bigger plays. Jay Cutler is an up and coming quarterback, as well as Matt Forte who is having a phenomenal season thus far at running back, and also of course linebacker Brian Urlacher. The Bears are a little short on wide receivers as far as playmakers go, who have Roy Williams who hasn’t produced much in the NFL, and Johnny Knox, who has his spurts. If Jay Cutler can get going and be as productive as Matt Forte has been, they might can turn this season around, but they need to do it quick, as they are falling back in the standings each and every week.
The NFC North is the NFL’s toughest division thus far in the season. They have the only two unbeaten teams in the whole league with the Green Bay Packers (5-0) and the surprising Detroit Lions (5-0). Chicago is (2-3) overall, but it is still very early in the season, so for them to turn their season around and win the division is not out of the question just yet. If Forte continues to put up big numbers, and Cutler can get in a rhythm, don’t be surprised if the Bears go on a winning streak.
